Your Responsibilities
The Human Resources division at ISTA provides comprehensive support to all employees (scientists, colleagues in administration and scientific support), guided by state-of-the-art HR practices. Due to our sustained growth, we are expanding our HR team with an HR Partner focused on recruiting and dual career services. We seek an experienced and passionate new colleague who is not only enthusiastic about engaging in (international) recruiting projects but also has a strong interest in Dual Career services. At ISTA, we understand that our employees’ success - especially those relocating from abroad - is often closely tied to the professional opportunities available to their partners. Through our dual career program, we aim to assist the partners of our faculty members in making a successful career transition to Austria.
- Independently manage (international) recruiting projects in close collaboration with the hiring manager (focus on science-related and administrative specialist and leadership roles)
- Act as sparring partner for our supervisors in regard to recruiting, team building, HR planning/strategy, and compensation
- Offer customized dual career support for partners of newly hired faculty members
- Further develop and refine our dual career processes and services to meet the needs of our growing institution (in close cooperation with internal stakeholders)
- Participate in dual career networking events and maintain ongoing exchanges with peer institutions
- Support the continuous improvement and optimization of our HR processes
- Join a team of enthusiastic HR professionals where laughter is never in short supply
Your Profile
- Completed relevant education, preferable with specialization in Human Resources
- Several years of experience as HR professional with a focus on recruiting, ideally in an academic setting or at least strong interest in science
- Work experience in an international setting and with diverse target groups is a plus
- Strong conceptual skills combined with a hands-on approach for building up and professionalizing our dual career program
- Enthusiastic communicator and networker with a confident appearance who seeks to build strong ties within the dual career community in Austria and Europe
- Interest in and flexibility for attending networking events
- International mindset, high level of initiative and solution-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
