Internship AI Transformation Office

- Starting at € 1.887* gross/month for 40h/w depending on level of education. Duration: 5-6 months, possible to start from 1 of September
Your Responsibilities
Excellent research needs state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, innovative digital services, and responsible use of artificial intelligence. The IT & Digital Transformation division is shaping ISTA’s digital future and driving an ambitious transformation agenda across the Institute. We are currently looking for an AI Transformation intern to actively support the Head of the Digital Transformation Office in advancing ISTA’s AI strategy, coordinating AI-related initiatives, and helping translate emerging technologies into practical value for the organization.
- Actively support the Head of the Digital Transformation Office in driving AI transformation activities across ISTA
- Contribute to the preparation of AI strategy materials, decision papers, presentations, and management updates
- Support the coordination, documentation, and follow-up of AI initiatives, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
- Conduct structured research on AI trends, tools, governance approaches, subscription models and adoption practices relevant to ISTA
- Assist with communication, enablement, and change management activities to promote responsible and effective AI usage
- Help maintain AI-related roadmaps, action trackers, and overview materials for the Digital Transformation Office
Your Profile
- Ongoing or completed studies in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, Innovation Management, Digital Transformation, or a related field
- Strong personal interest in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, organizational change, and the practical application of new technologies, combined with good knowledge of the current LLM landscape
- Structured, reliable, proactive, and comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders
- Excellent English with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and audience-oriented communication materials; German is a plus
- Confident user of Microsoft 365 tools; experience with SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Jira, Confluence, or AI tools is an advantage
- Curious team player with a hands-on mindset, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a dynamic transformation environment
