In recognition of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we are organizing a special event on ISTA campus.

The program will feature a performance of “Curie_Meitner_Lamarr_INDIVISIBLE” by portraittheater, a documentary-style theatre production that brings together the stories and scientific achievements of Marie Sklodowska-Curie, Lise Meitner, and Hedy Lamarr. Blending historical sources with live performance, the play highlights both their groundbreaking contributions to science and technology, and the structural barriers they faced, including displacement and migration in pursuit of scientific careers. It also addresses the importance of supportive environments and male allyship in enabling scientific excellence.

The performance will be followed by a panel discussion with ISTA professors, reflecting on the play's themes and their relevance to the current academic landscape and the future of women in STEM.

A reception will conclude the evening.
