The Long Night of Research (LNF) is Austria's largest event dedicated to science, research, and innovation, and is aimed at all age groups. The event has been held every two years throughout Austria since 2005. In all nine federal states, you can discover what is often hidden away, free of charge: exciting, surprising, amazing things! Around 170,000 visitors took part in the Long Night of Research 2024 at over 270 exhibition locations.
The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and research institutes from across Lower Austria are showcasing science and research in Klosterneuburg, inviting visitors to participate, marvel, and discover. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., you can immerse yourself in the world of research. Interesting exhibitions, guided tours, and experiments on the latest findings in biology, physics, and much more await you.
Take advantage of the free shuttle bus from Vienna Heiligenstadt to ISTA.
