The Lieb-Thirring inequality bounds the sum of the absolute values of the negative eigenvalues of Schrdinger operators in terms of the potential. In this talk, I'll present a short proof of the sharp inequality in one dimension, settling the exponent-one case of the LiebThirring conjecture. This is joint work with Marvin R. Schulz, carried out with substantial AI assistance.
