WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO, AND WHAT WE OFFER
Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) alumni program was initiated in the fall of 2016 to meet the needs of the growing number of our alumni (PhDs and postdoctoral fellows) and assist them in improving their career preparation, job placement, and academic and professional success.
The program invites you to become a member of ISTA alumni network and foster a lifelong and mutually beneficial intellectual and professional relationships with the Institute and your peers.
Stay in touch with ISTA, take an active role in the alumni community, share your story, join the growing community of ISTA mentors, bring in new ideas, projects, and researchers!

While alumni affairs are organized by joint efforts of Academic Affairs, IT and Communication and Events office, communications@ista.ac.at will be your main point of contact with ISTA.
MESSAGE FROM THE ISTA PRESIDENT
While the campus of a research institute can be built in years, it takes decades to build a reputation. The reputation of ISTA will rest not only on the research results and awards obtained by our scientists, but also on the careers of our PhD and postdoc alumni. We take great pride in seeing our alumni succeed in academia, industry, and the public sector. You can offer us valuable feedback on how to improve as an institution, and you can help our current and former scientists by providing a network of support and professional contacts.
As our alumni family continues to grow globally, we cherish every opportunity to maintain a bond between you and the Institute. This is why I urge all of you to stay in touch, join the ISTA alumni network, and visit us at our alumni events.
